About Me

Hey y'all, I'm Jillian!

I am a New York transplant originally from Minnesota. I'm also a graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Musical Theatre (Boomer Sooner!) I have also lived in Edinburgh, Scotland and Dresden, Germany.

My first love was singing. My parents tell me I was singing as soon as I could speak. I was cast in a production of The Music Man at a local community theatre when I was 9 without even knowing I was auditioning, and after opening night I told my mom that I was going to be an actor when I grew up. I was able to sing, but also dance and live in a story. I fell in love with every part of the process.

I discovered my passion for acting with John Woehrle at Self Reliant Actor. I took his course over my gap year, where really trained to be an actor first.

When I am not on stage, I am usually playing my guitars and writing music, painting my nails (@jilly_nails on instagram), traveling, or hanging out with my two kitties :) I am a proud Minnesotan, and unfortunately that does mean I am a Vikings fan (thanks, mom).
